Outlook Web App (OWA) provides you with an state-of-the-art ajax enabled web interface for access to your exchange mailbox. Besides reading your mails you can access your calendars, your address books and lists and all your tasks using a TLS secured connection. Compared to Exchange 2007 you can use the new Outlook Wep App with all premium features in major browsers, like Microsoft Internet Explorer, Google Chrome, Mozilla Firefox or Apple's Safari.
High data security
We backup all your content data automatically and multi-layered. All mailbox databases are mirrored every 15 minutes to replica volumes, from which every 4 hours full backups are created. This way you notice no performance loss when backups are created. Our backup strategy is based on Microsoft System Center Data Protection Manager 2010, all backups sets are copied to an iSCSI connected high performance DELL storage platform on-site. If you want to restore your mailboxes, folders or single mail objects your can order restoration services up to 7 days back by placing a call with our customer support.
Data safety
We provide our customers with TLS secured connections for all clients. Also, if the remote mailserver supports it, we can initiate TLS secured outgoing mail transmissions and all internal communication is encrypted.
High availability
dogado Hosted Exchange provide high available services using different approaches. Our hub transport servers, which are responsible for incoming and outgoing mail transmission are load balanced via DNS Round Robin, all client access servers use session based network load balancing and our mailbox database servers contain exchange database availability groups (DAGs) which are two node fail-over clustered. The entire platform is built based on a dogado Hyper-V private cloud and secured by Microsoft System Center. In conjunction with redundant power supplies and network uplinks we can guarantee an availability of 99.99% p.a.
Extensible sharing features for calendars and address books
You can share your calendars or address books using individual set permission rights to any colleague inside your organizational unit. If you have the need to share your calendar data on a restricted scale you can also publish it using iCAL or HTML links.
Client connectivity
We provide several client protocols for accessing your mailbox data, like Outlook Anywhere (RPC-over-HTTPS) for MAPI based Outlook Clients, Exchange Web Services (EWS) for Mac Clients or Exchange ActiveSync for mobile phones or tablets. Of course you have also access using standard protocols like POP3 and IMAP4. When you are on the go and do not have a client near you, you can always access all information using a browser (OWA).
Client Auto Configuration
To enhance your user experience we provide you with a powerful configuration service for your Exchange clients. Outlook and ActiveSync clients can use Exchange Autodiscover to get all configuration settings just by providing your name, your email address and your password. We are also supporting Mozilla Thunderbird legacy autoconfiguration. All you have to do is configure some DNS zone entries one-time and you are good to go.
Exchange ActiveSync
Using Exchange ActiveSync you can synchronize all your compatible mobile devices like Windows Phones, iPhones or iPads with your Exchange mailbox.
Hosted Sharepoint 2010
Since Hosted Exchange 2010 does not support public folders anymore we can provide you with an integrated Hosted SharePoint 2010 solution. Compared to public folders you gain features like an extensible web interface, WebDAV support and automation capabilities.
